Key Responsibilities
- Provide frontline patient service, including registration, appointment scheduling, handling enquiries, and managing surgery-related arrangements.
- Coordinate bookings for operating theatres, anaesthetists, hospital admissions, and day surgery procedures.
- Liaise with patients, doctors, hospitals, and healthcare providers on outpatient and inpatient matters.
- Follow up with patients on review appointments and post-operative recovery progress.
- Assist with clinic operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment.
- Provide patient care and support in outpatient and day surgery settings.
- Assist doctors during clinic consultations, examinations, and minor surgical procedures when required.
- Process corporate insurance, Medisave, and other healthcare claims through the relevant insurance and MediClaim portals.
- Communicate and coordinate with insurance companies, corporate clients, and vendors regarding claim submissions and approvals.
- Advise patients on claim procedures, insurance coverage, and payment-related matters.
- Perform general administrative duties, including filing, cashiering, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Requirements
- Minimum NITEC qualification.
- Prior experience as a Clinic Assistant, Clinic Executive, Healthcare Assistant, or Enrolled Nurse is advantageous
- Familiarity with insurance claims processing, corporate insurance portals, and Medisave submissions.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centric approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Proficient in basic administrative and computer skills.
- Candidates without prior experience may apply.
- Able to commit to a 5.5-day work week.
- Comfortable with rotating clinics.
